Dr Tafadzwa Mabhaudhi

Honorary Research Fellow

I am a boundary spanner with extensive experience in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships across academia, public and private sectors, as well as civil society and communities. I am goal-orientated with a passion for research and development that is dynamic, transformative, informs policy and achieves societal impacts. I have a keen interest on the science-policy-practitioner interface, working together with policy and decision makers, and practitioners, to contribute to evidence-based policy and decision making as well as practice.

Research interests

  • Crop responses to abiotic and biotic stresses
  • Water use and crop-climate modelling to multi- and transdisciplinary research areas covering sustainable food systems
  • Global environmental change and the water-energy-food nexus.
