An Engineering Geologist with an MSc and PhD in Engineering Geology. An academic of over twenty years in geology and applied geology. He has been involved in several mapping projects, mineral exploration, teaching, and research in engineering geology. His research interests lie in landslides, the understanding of the stability of slopes, the uncertainties associated with slope stability studies, and rock engineering problems in open pit and underground mines.
He has presented papers at international conferences in Engineering Geology and Rock Engineering. He has served as a reviewer for several papers for journals and international conferences pertaining to engineering geology and rock engineering and served as an auditor for the Council for Geosciences.
